The heat and long days of summer have made it nearly impossible to believe that autumn is near. When the air becomes crisp and the leaves begin to change I want to be cuddled up with my little family; sipping warmed cider and wearing a giant sweater. Though autumn brings to memory the smell of erasers and the giddiness of change it is also a time that family comes together, so it makes sense that it is the most popular time for family photography sessions.

As I plan for family photography sessions I am inspired by the beautiful architecture and landcapes of Bucks County. The rustic buildings offer a beautiful backdrop for timeless family photos. I am looking forward to exploring these wonderful locations during sessions this autumn.
This beautiful family photography session, with Brittany Scanlan of The Scanlan Story , at the Hunting Hill Mansion at Ridley Creek State Park was magical even in a downpour. This session led me to search out more of our local archictecture to use during family photography sessions. Brittany and her sweet family were such a dream to work with, they loved exploring the grounds with me, even in the rain. I hope you enjoy the beautiful portraits from this session as much as I do!
